About WRO
World Robot Olympiad Association™ is an independent non-profit organization. All revenue from sponsorships and fees is invested in support of our mission, which is to promote robotics in STEM education worldwide.
First held in 2004 in Singapore, it now attracts more than 28,000 teams from more than 85 countries. In 2021, because of the pandemic, the WRO 2021 competition was held online.
The WRO® theme for 2021 is PowerBots.
Robots can help with the challenges that come with using more energy from renewable sources.
My experience
The WRO 2021 was the first robotics competition in which I participated. During the competition, I truly fell in love with robotics and with the fact that one day my creations can help the world.
